Under Going an Energy Assessment

As a fully qualified, trained professional in energy assessment, you can be sure that you / your clients will receive a prompt and courteous service.

STEP 1

Instruct Catherine Gilbert, the local DEA , to assess your home, clients or tenants home, by clicking on the CONTACT US link above, there you will find telephone, mobile, address details, and also areas covered.

STEP 2

Arrange a suitable time for approximately a 1 to 2 hour assessment appointment (dependent on size of property). 

STEP 3

Under go your energy assessment, this will include an in depth look in and around all of your property, measurements will be taken and access to loft spaces,boiler,water tank (if applicable) is helpful.  (Do not worry about having an assessment done as it is only a visual inspection and no damage to your property will occur).

Catherine Gilbert, the local DEA is accredited with SAVA and is therefore covered with professional indemnity insurance.

Step 4

Receive your Energy Performance Certificate, with your score and potential rating with recommendations on how to improve the energy performance of your home. This certificate is required by law when selling your home as part of EU legislation, and currently part of the home information pack (HIP).
